Why now

Botswana has what an investor looks for first and finds least often: a durable constitutional order, an independent judiciary, and a peaceful transfer of power after the 2024 election. Membership of SACU and participation in the AfCFTA mean a project sited in Gaborone reaches a regional market rather than a domestic one of 2.6 million.

At the same time the country is absorbing a structural revenue shock as diamond income falls, and is running its own economic diversification programme. That is a rare combination: a state of high institutional quality actively seeking capital in sectors outside extraction.

What we do

  • Sector scoping: renewable energy, agro-processing, infrastructure, digital services
  • Institutional contact with ministries, regulators and the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre
  • Exclusive tourism — the Okavango Delta and the reserves as a premium product for the Polish and European market
  • Support for Polish companies entering the market: counterparty due diligence, regulatory pathway, local presence

Who it is for

  • Polish companies in energy, construction and agri-food
  • Funds and private investors with a long horizon
  • Travel operators in the luxury segment
