Statutory aims and how we pursue them

Aims

The Foundation's seven aims

  1. Promoting a positive image of Poland at home and abroad.
  2. Supporting entrepreneurship, innovation and economic development, including the internationalisation of Polish companies.
  3. Disseminating knowledge of international relations, diplomacy and cooperation between states.
  4. Supporting international and intercultural cooperation and public–private dialogue.
  5. Supporting regional development, local communities and young leaders engaged in international cooperation.
  6. Supporting civic, economic and cultural diplomacy.
  7. Promoting democratic values, the rule of law, social responsibility and good governance.
Means of action

How the aims are pursued

The Foundation pursues its aims through statutory activity, including unpaid and paid public-benefit activity, for society as a whole or for defined groups, in particular by:

  • organising conferences, debates, training, workshops, internships and placements;
  • preparing studies, reports, expert opinions and publications;
  • creating and developing platforms for the exchange of knowledge, contacts and experience between experts, institutions, business and civil society;
  • building international cooperation networks, strategic partnerships and intercultural dialogue;
  • cooperating with public institutions, universities, non-governmental organisations and the private sector, in Poland and abroad;
  • delivering international projects, grants and programmes.

The Foundation may conduct economic activity within the scope set out in §12 of the statute, including the activity of commercial and employers' organisations (PKD 94.11.Z). Income from that activity serves the statutory aims alone.
